Lunch at Olde Main Brewing Co (Dutch Treat)

Visit Reiman Garden’s Indoor Butterfly House. $7 admission at door

Ames High Class of 1985 20 Year Reunion was held the weekend of July 8-10, 2005. The plans included an informal get-together at the Old Main Brewery on Main Street on Friday night, a golf outing at the Coldwater Golf Links on South 16th Street on Saturday morning, a dinner and reception at the Coldwater outdoor golf pavilion on Saturday night and a family picnic at Moore Memorial Park on Sunday.

We have setup a Yahoo Group called AmesHigh1985. Several folks have now signed up and we would like to get everyone subscribed to this. It is a great way to keep up to date, share pictures, etc. We hope that this group continues on past the reunion, and will allow everyone to stay in touch continually (instead of every 10 years!). Golf Outing!
The Class of 1985 is forming 4-person teams to have fun in a best shot golf tourney on Saturday. A best shot tourney means that you only use the best shot of the group, and the entire 4-some will hit their next shot from that same location. The group will continue to use only the best shot all the way down the fairway and on the green. This means that you only need one of the group to get off a decent shot each time – so the odds are with you! So even if you cannot golf, come join the fun! There will be prizes of all kinds – even for the teams that did not do so well! So sign up and “volunteer” 3 of your old classmates, spouses, etc and let us know!
